If life was a computer game, IELTS would be the boss that stops you getting to the next level!

You want to go to university or to emigrate to another country, but first you need to get a good score on the IELTS exam.

I’ve helped hundreds of students to do just that – to get the grade they needed, whether it’s 6.0, 7.0 or even 8.0.

The key to beating IELTS

If you want to get a good IELTS score you need to accept that it is going to take two things from you:

hard work
time

There are a lot of scam artists out there who will tell you that you can get whatever score you want, without taking the exam. This is simply not true. Like anything in life, the IELTS is achieveable as long as you are willing to spend time and effort on it. If you’re not, then I can’t help you, and neither can anyone else.

I assume that you are willing to put the time and effort in. In that case, the key ingredients you need to pass IELTS are:

Having a high enough level of general English (you won’t get an advanced score if your general English is intermediate).
Knowing how the exam is structured.
Knowing strategies to answer reading and listening answers quickly and confidently.
Knowing how to write the essays that are required.
Having plenty of ideas in the speaking and being able to express them clearly and fluently.

I am a native English speaker from the UK and I have been teaching English and IELTS preparation for over 10 years. I previously trained as an IELTS speaking examiner, have a Cambridge Delta, and I also train English teachers on the Cambridge CELTA.

I finally entered IELTS exam and received my results. I got 8.5 overall, 8 - speaking, 8 -writing, 8.5 - listening, 9 - reading. I guess, my speaking examiner was somewhat very kind as I was speaking awkwardly and definently made mistakes))) I would give myself 7... No idea how to use these results now ....but I am so glad about them, never expected to score more than 7.5) and I want to thank you, your course really helped a lot! Especially with writing and speaking, discussing essays&graphs in class is the best tactics ever. So, thank you once again!
